450K Infinium Methylation BeadChip
CIDR offers the Illumina 450K Infinium Methylation array for methylation profiling studies. Investigators must supply positive and negative controls. Current pricing for CIDR Program studies are for a minimum study size of 460 samples. Please inquire for pricing if your sample number does not meet this minimum requirement. The bisulfite conversion necessary for the assay is included for CIDR Program studies.
FFPE samples are supported for 450K Infinium Methylation BeadChip.
- 486,000 methylation sites, providing 99% coverage of RefSeq genes and 96% CpG islands
- Other high-value content includes:
- CpG shores
- CpG sites outside of CpG islands
- Non-CpG methylated sites identified in human stem cells
- Differentially methylated sites identified in tumor versus normal (multiple forms of cancer) and across several tissue types
- CpG islands outside of coding regions
- miRNA promoter regions
- Disease-associated regions identified through GWAS
Custom Methylation Profiling
