NIH CIDR Program

Free Option

Genotyping and sequencing are free to investigators with extramural projects supported by one of the 14 participating NIH Institutes. The CIDR facility is supported directly by NIH according to a funding formula and set pricing schedule. Institutes pay an annual base fee as well as a per sample fee (chargeback) for projects. Prices cover all costs including labor, reagents, sample pretesting, 5% positive controls, experimental failure repeats and indirect costs (IDC) to JHU.

 

The HTS Facility

Fee-for-Service Option

The High Throughput Sequencing Facility, part of the Johns Hopkins Genetic Resources Core Facility, provides next generation sequencing services to internal JHU investigators and external scientists on a fee-for-service basis.

 

The JHU SNP Center

Fee-for-Service Option

The SNP Center, part of the Johns Hopkins Genetic Resources Core Facility, provides genotyping to internal JHU investigators and external scientists on a fee-for-service basis.
