Quality Control
for
Mouse Microsatellite (STRP) Studies

All allele calls will be reviewed by two technicians. All genotyping data will be binned before data is released to the investigator.

For each 96 lanes, 4 blind duplicates, 2 blanks, and 8 controls will be run. The 8 controls are made up of:

• DNA supplied by investigator
  1. 1 lane of DNA from each parental strain (= 2 total)
  2. 2 lanes of F1 DNA

• DNA supplied by CIDR, obtained from The Jackson Laboratories
  1. 1 lane of DNA from each parental strain (= 2 total)
  2. 2 lanes of DNA from C56BL/6J
