Mouse Whole Genome SNP Genotyping


Preliminary information on marker set: CIDR will perform mouse whole genome SNP genotyping using Illumina's Medium Density Linkage Panel. This panel includes 1,449 SNP loci. Download the SNP list and get detailed information on each locus including map information, alleles, and reference strand sequence. Download the Inbred Genotypes file to get genotypes for the 10 commonly used inbred strains. Genotype information for additional strains can be obtained at the Wellcome Trust Center for Human Genetics website www.well.ox.ac.uk/mouse/INBREDS. This dataset includes genotypes for 480 strains and over 13,000 Illumina-validated SNPs, including the markers included in the Medium Density Linkage Panel.
